Dive Sites List

Underwater Cave is one of the signature dive sites at Menjangan Island, located within the protected waters of West Bali National Park. The dive follows a beautiful coral-covered wall filled with colorful reef fish, soft corals, giant gorgonian sea fans, and fascinating rock formations. The site is named after its shallow cave, with an entrance at around 12–15 meters, where sunlight streams through openings to create a dramatic underwater atmosphere. The reef top begins at approximately 5–6 meters and is covered with healthy hard corals, attracting schools of anthias, damselfish, butterflyfish, and other tropical reef species. As you continue along the wall, overhangs, crevices, and small caves provide shelter for moray eels, lionfish, and occasionally juvenile whitetip reef sharks resting during the day. Fire clams are often found embedded within the reef, while the large sea fans are excellent places to spot pygmy seahorses for those with a keen eye.

The clear water, gentle currents, and spectacular underwater scenery make this an enjoyable dive for newly certified divers as well as experienced photographers. Keep an eye on the blue water throughout the dive—you may encounter turtles, barracuda, giant trevallies, or passing reef sharks cruising along the wall.

Taked (Tangked) Shark Cave is a premier, expert dive site located on the coast of Candidasa. The site has a unique underwater cave structure known for sightings of whitetip and blacktip reef sharks. *requires negative entries.
